To repost on TikTok, open the video in the app, tap Share, then tap Repost. You can also press and hold the video to find Repost. Check which account you're using first.
That last part matters if you manage a business account and your personal account on the same phone. A video you like personally might have nothing to do with what your customers came to see.
What does reposting on TikTok do?
A repost shares an existing video with your community through the For You feed. TikTok labels it with your nickname and profile picture. The official repost guide explains the feature and its controls.
For a local business, think about why you'd want a customer to see the video before you share it. A neighborhood event announcement could be useful. So could a customer's honest look at a job your crew finished. A clip that's getting attention somewhere else still needs a reason to appear under your business name.
Where can I see my TikTok reposts?
Open your profile's repost tab. For private accounts, TikTok says only followers can see reposted content on the profile and in their For You feeds.
If you're checking whether a repost worked, use that tab instead of waiting for a friend to spot it. A friend's feed isn't a reliable test of what you just did on your account.
How do I remove a repost on TikTok?
Return to the video, tap Share, and choose Remove repost.
If you shared something by mistake from the business account, undo it as soon as you notice. Then check the active account before you keep scrolling. For a team, it helps to agree on who handles reposts and what kinds of posts are appropriate. You don't need a long approval document for every tap, but everyone using the account should know what they're speaking for.
Why can't I find the Repost button?
Start with the mobile app and try both controls described above. Then look at another video. If the button appears there, write down which video caused the problem. If it's missing everywhere you check, that gives you a different problem to report.
The missing button alone doesn't tell you the cause. Avoid treating a guess from a comment thread as a confirmed restriction on your account.
My first checks would be closing and reopening the app, then checking the official app store for an update. These are troubleshooting steps, not a promise that a particular update will restore Repost. Keep a note of what you tried so you don't repeat the same changes all afternoon.
Don't start by uninstalling TikTok if you have unfinished videos. TikTok's draft instructions warn that drafts may be removed when the app is uninstalled and reinstalled, or when an account moves to another device. A missing button isn't worth losing a video you've spent time editing.
How do I ask TikTok for help with reposting?
Go to Profile, open the menu, choose Settings and privacy, then Report a problem. TikTok's feedback instructions also describe the Suggestions route and the Need more help option.
Make the report specific. Include your phone model and app version, explain whether the button is missing on every video you tested, and attach a screenshot of the menu. If there's an error message, copy the exact wording. That gives support something to investigate beyond "reposts don't work."
How should a small business use TikTok reposts?
Watch the whole clip before sharing it. Check any dates or prices against what you're actually offering. A customer could have made a great video about last month's special, and sharing it today might send people in expecting a deal that's finished.
Keep making your own videos too. Reposting a useful clip doesn't show customers how your crew works or answer a question about your service. Use those customer questions to decide what to film next.

Yes. Reposts carry the reposter's nickname and profile picture.
